Dr carson chin

Dr. Carson Chin grew up in East Vancouver before going to Montreal, Quebec to study Microbiology and Immunology at McGill University where he completed a Bachelor of Science and Honours degree with additional laboratory training. He completed his medical school at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and did his Internal Medicine residency at UBC. Dr. Chin then completed his fellowship training in Adult Rheumatology at UBC and is Canadian board certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. 

He is a Clinical Instructor in the Division of Rheumatology, UBC and is a consultant Rheumatologist at Burnaby Hospital. He is the current Vice President of the BC Society of Rheumatologists.

In his spare time, Dr. Chin loves to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoys going to the gym and has a love for basketball and skiing. He is an animal lover and grew up with a family dog and now owns a cat.
